You can always expect a friendly welcome in the Black Bull. Frendly banter from the locals with drinks at realistic prices that don't break the bank. It's a good old fashioned pub and all its regulars hope it stays that way.
Went here for my Daughter's 30th Birthday Meal and had a very enjoyable meal. The chef even catered for my Daughter's partner who is a vegetarian with non meat gravy and veggie stuffing. Plentiful portions even though we had standard and small carvery.

Very warm, friendly staff and regulars, proper family pub. The Sunday carvery not to be missed, sometimes there can be a short wait but it's well worth the wait, the Stones Bitter is a revelation, takes you back to good old days
