Hadn't eaten here for years but wanted somewhere picturesque to take our friend who is over from the US. We were welcomed by a roaring fire and a warm welcome from the manager. We all chose 2 courses for £18. Mushrooms, whitebait, and chicken wings. Generous portions and very tasty. For mains, we had roast beef, pork, and Southern fried chicken burger. Called in for lunch with a group of friends after a nice walk along the canal. This was a first visit for all of us. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food choice was good, meals arrived without delay and were enjoyed by all. Looking forward to future visits.

Had our annual family Christmas dinner at the Swan today, we had a two course set menu and had preordered. The service was fantastic, all of the team are super helpful, friendly and polite (as always). The food was superb, the meals were presented well, boiling hot and delicious which given there was 16 of us, was just superb - a massive thank you to all of you.
