I popped in today for a quick bite to eat on my way home.It was quite busy but the service was very acceptable.The staff were friendly and where I day was very clean.The fish and chips were lovely and filling.Will definitely pop in again.
Over the last few years I have used montys plenty of times as the food is always very tasty. However I have been extremely frustrated for a long time with the portion sizes. I can't believe the size of the large portion of chips. It isn't even the size of a regular portion from other chip shops like the haregate fryer. The photo below is of a large portion that i havent had anything out. Prices have gone up everywhere and I accept it is for good reason, but when I am paying 3pounds...read full review

This place is a real gem! The food is excellent and good value. Keith and his staff are so friendly and we love coming here. Keep up the good work!Parking: We never struggle to find a space, but bear in mind that it is also used as a street market, so check the days. There are other car parks nearby.
