Didn't book a room so can't comment on that but location is good. The bar area is clean and tidy service good as is the wine had a meal on 23/1/23 excellent food and service dining area well spaced out and clean and tidy would recommend Visited yesterday 4/12/23 for a meal limited menu only 7 people in the restaurant so not really busy service okay ordered green beans to go with my meal all the food was served except the beans which I had to ask for and wait at least 5 minutes...read full review
Very disappointing. We went three weeks before Christmas to attend a Christmas show. The room was hardly decorated - unless you count a couple of swags and some silver baubles. The organisation was dreadful. Despite the fact that tickets said 7.30 start, we were kept waiting in the entrance, all crammed in like sardines, because "the tickets were wrong: they should have said 7.45"! A well situated hotel in the heart of Lichfield. Good staff. Hearty breakfast. Comfortable bar with plenty of seating. Outside area with patio heater. Bonus is the carpark adj to Bird Street public carpark . Plenty of eateries in the vicinity.
