This place was wonderful. They were so nice and accommodating to us. We were coming from the canal and didn't know we needed reservations. They found us a spot. The food was amazing. A few days later, we stopped by on our way back. Next time we are in the area, we will stop by again.
I visited the Plum Pudding with my family for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely fantastic, there was loads of food to go round and the staff were very attentive, we were particularly impressed by the way they handled a very unpleasant situation that we witnessed where a customer was complaining about their meal and it was quite apparent that they were only complaining to get a free meal for themselves and their family but the staff stayed calm addressed the situation with dignity....read full review

Had a very nice lunch here- 2 courses for £9.99 which was excellent value & large portions. Good food & a nice choice of traditional 'pub grub' meals plus specials. An enjoyable atmosphere & decor.Just sorry they don't allow dogs inside - you can sit out with them but it was a bit chilly for that! So many people have dogs these days that an inside 'seating with dogs' area would be really helpful, & popular I suspect.
