We were staying at Alton Towers and were appalled at their buffet price and food quality (£80.30 for their buffet for 2 adults and 2 young kids…who eat about 3 mouthfuls of food normally for one evening visit), so decided to support a local pub/restaurant for our second night. Visited here after googling local pubs and were delighted with our visit. Friendliness of staff and food quality/portions/value for money/hygiene…everything was excellent. Lovely friendly staff, food was amazing and the bed rooms were beautiful. The rooms were just across the road . Only downside was the stairs were quite steep to the rooms. Well worth the climb though.

Went with a large group for my mums birthday and it couldn’t have been better. Rhys and the staff were extremely accommodating and flexible with our booking. They also provided vegan options on request to make sure everyone in the group had a great evening. We even had our own room with our choice of music. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening thank you to the staff for being so friendly and making the whole evening really special. Will be back in a heartbeat!
