A combination of a quiet day and messed up trains meant I could re-visit a pub that I haven’t been in for nearly 10 years. It was just as I remembered it - friendly and welcoming, with a real historic vibe. A pint of well-kept and excellently-served Joule’s Pale Ale, and as it was lunchtime I ordered a roast pork sandwich. ignore the 3 star's food rating I cant review the food because I didn't have any , I Just poped in for a break from walking from Hanley , perfect pub weather , and it was just a brief but very pleasant experience, great ambience , great music being played , quality pint, perfect ambience .

Delicious beers and friendly staff. Barman Joe was knowledgeable, friendly and chatty. I hadn't been out for a drink since before COVID, but I felt comfortable and welcome at the Glebe.
