Small Costa Coffee shop at motorway services. It was totally deserted! Services in general need a makeover!Refurbishment now taken place. Premises given bigger area with new tables and seats. Lots of space to spread out. However very busy on last visit, better organisation and more staff required in order to cope!
Fast service, usual quality from Costa, character roast is preferable although on this visit staff forgot to add Vanilla Syrup which i paid for. Didn't find out until we were back on the road and i took my first sip. ?

I visited in the late afternoon and, as is my wont, had a medium Americans, one shot with pouring cream, an absolutely delicious smoked ham and coleslaw sandwich, a packet of Burt's plain crisps and a packet of two ginger biscuits. The service was cheerful, friendly and polite and someone carried my order to the table for me. Discerning coffee drinkers take Costa coffee.
