Dapple Grey is an excellent all-round restaurant with good parking and nice curb appeal. The entrance features a small, child-friendly garden area. Although the reviewers had not booked, they were met with a friendly, warm welcome at the bar. The tables were clean, laid with condiments and menus, and customers could choose their own table. The food, including Steak Ale Pie, Hunters Chicken, Apple Crumble, and Cheesecake, was delicious, well-cooked, and nicely presented. The staff were friendly, checked on the meals, and promptly cleared the plates. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible and offers a great value for money. Reviewers particularly appreciated the kid-friendly features, such as an activity area with books and blocks, and the staff's understanding of dining with a toddler.
