Having eaten at the castle carvery quite a few times and had fairly good experiences from the carvery. We invited family to join us for a Sunday meal. Everyone seemed to enjoy the carvery. The only ones who didn't enjoy their meals were the two that ordered steak meals off of the menu. Unfortunately they didn't tell me as they were our guests at the time and didn't want us to feel embarrassed if I had known I would have complained on their behalf. Today we visited for a breakfast at 10.45 and was told they stopped serving it at 10, I went to get my coat on to find somewhere else and the manager said it was no problem and gave me a breakfast menu, the breakfast was excellent, good quality and the service was above and beyond expectations, the team here could train the staff and management at the Hatfield Hotel on Lowestoft front, well done to the team here I can't praise them enough

Had a nice meal here on a Monday so it was reasonably quiet due to this. We all went for the carvery with dessert. Although you can order from the menu as well.
