My husband and I stopped here on 2nd July on route to Hopton for something to eat and a drink at lunchtime. Was met by a friendly fella (sorry, didn't get your name, tall dark curly hair ) and Buddy the dog who said they didn't serve food bit we were welcome to go elsewhere and bring food back if we wanted to have a drink , by the fella not the dog lol!. The occasion was an awards night for the local powerboat racing club, The Lowestoft and Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club. It was a very busy night for the two ladies behind the bar and they were working very hard indeed. (I know because I've done it !). Their service was efficient and friendly and I would recommend this pub without hesitation.

Such friendly staff and clientèle, added bonus of being dog very friendly. Large spacious pub with lots of outside seating. Includes pool tables and dart board. I highly recommend this pub and also their prices are rock bottom.
