Stopped in for a Sunday roast. Food was just luke warm. Gravy was too runny. It was ok. Then we came in for a meal in the Thursday. Two of us had the chicken Jalfrezi. Children's portion, and didn't have any flavour. Certainly not curry, just tomato and chicken stew. Tiny amount. Naan bread over done. One of us had the prawn salad which was meant to be in a tortilla. Anyway it wasn't, and also small. The side of chips was generous though. Overall not good value and curry was terrible.
The promised Wi-Fi is available in the pub but not in the accommodation, this is not accurate in the listing. I was here with my mother who occupied a disability adapted room, it was a good size with an excellent wet room. However this room was furthest from the pub and up a significant slope - mum's disability doesn't directly affect her mobility but you would struggle to self-propel or even push a wheelchair up it. Proper British pub: The Union Jack behind the bar and a lovely Indian gentleman on the staff. Felt proud of our country. And oh yeah, great accommodation/ folk music ?? Thank you very much.
