6 Old St, Haughley, StowmarketMy wife and I went in for an anniversary meal on the 20 September.....having only had a takeaway for the first time a couple of weeks ago from here we thought we would dine in and we weren't disappointed.
My lamb chops were amazingly good and my wife's chicken karahi was also very good by all accounts.
The service we received was second to none.....the waiter was exceptional and so was the service we received.
A massive thank you to Abdul and his hard working team.....we will definitely come again

16 Market Pl, StowmarketWent in for lunch and had a funghi pancetta linguine, and it was delicious. It cost £13, which for the quality is outstanding value. I also had an americano and it was very tasty. Will definitely be going back.

Station Rd E, StowmarketA faultless lunch experience served in a clean and modern environment with great service, excellent food and all very reasonably priced too - a rare combo sadly these days.\nI had the small battered haddock with chunky fries and it was outstandingly good. The chunky fries clearly started their journey to my plate as a spud in the kitchen. Everything came to the table piping hot and the chips were super crispy and very tasty too.\nMy guest went for a chibatta with Italian salami, burrata, pesto and a salad, served with fries. This also was excellent - great chibatta and crispy fries too. \nDrinks were very reasonably priced and I consider this place to be quite an unexpected find - well, I didn't expect this level of quality at these prices so I'll be back.\nVERY highly recommended.

Museum Of East Anglian Life, Crowe St, StowmarketA really nice place to have a bite to eat, it is in the church, so it has a very unique atmosphere.
The food was excellent and the service was perfect.

Punch Bowl Inn
Bowl Rd, Battisford Tye, StowmarketRead the reviews before visiting and felt comfortable with my decision to come here, and I'm very glad I did. Myself and my partner both opted for the Burger, if it's not clear from the picture, it was huge. Can quite honestly say it's the best burger I've had, probably ever. Meat was juicy and well cooked. If you're in the area, or willing to travel to get one of the best burgers you'll have around, it's well worth a visit. Service was thorough and polite, checked up on a few times during our time there to make sure we had everything that we needed. Will be returning

1, Buttermarket, StowmarketI probably ordered the first iced mocha there, at least none of the staff knew exactly how it would be made. They gave it a shot and even with the promise of a replacement if it was bad, it turned out to be the best iced mocha I've had in a while

Lower Rd, StowmarketWent there today with my husband and my mum and dad. Service was amazing from start to finish, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My husband and dad had the beef and ale pie which they said was delicious and me and mum had the lasagne which was the best i've EVER had! We shared a side of coleslaw which in itself is worth a visit, delicious and creamy. Rich homemade food at good prices. Booking definitely advisable as gets very busy. Recommend 100%

They do not serve food(concentrating on fine ales)but every other Thursday they have a night off cooking and host a WagYu burger van, placed right outside. You can order you're choice of burger ,and any accompanying extras,at the van- they'll issue you a numbered ticket & bring it in to you in the pub.Top quality meat. We both enjoyed immensely during our visit on Thursday1st of Feb.

Debenham Fish & Chip Shop
32 High St, Debenham, StowmarketWe are staying locally and had heard that this is the best fish & chips in the area. This was proven by the number of customers. The portions are very generous, we couldn't finish ours. The prices are very good.

Regal Cinema and Theatre, Ipswich St, StowmarketA lovely little cafe within the cinema. I'd never been before but was visiting family and friends and we really appreciated how attentive the staff were and how nice and lively it got in the evening.
Ps definitely go for the pulled pork on the side of the nachos it was delicious - could do with a bit extra but definitely value for money.

44-46 Bury St, StowmarketThe Stag has got to be one of 'newest', 'oldest' pubs in Stowmarket.\\nThe premises has been there for a few hundred years. I remember it as a butchers in the 70's but it became a pub in the same decade, hence oldest/newest.\\nAlways popular, always topical.\\nPublic car park nearby.\\nTown centre 2 mins walk.\\nJohn Peel Centre 2 mins walk.\\nTrain station 5 mins walk.\\nPool table, music, TV and wheelchair accessible.\\nOak beams and low ceilings so mind your head.\\nStaff are attentive, fun and there is a great selection of drinks.
