We have pasted this place many of times and said we would go in one day and last Saturday we did just that. It wasn’t planned we wanted to find a pub where we could have a drink and this was ideal. We ended up have a small bite to eat and we wasn’t disappointed.A starter and desserts was perfect and it was good ole pub food.We loved the fact there was bar stools at the bar for people to just have a drink.Staff were friendly and service was great. Nick and his crew are doing a grand job at the Old Mill House in Saxtead. During storm Babet in 2023 we were unable to find a route past Framlingham. We were trapped by flooded roads in all directions. We turned a corner and found this pub, a true oasis and a godsend. We had several good beers and food over the next couple of days. Nick was a friendly and amiable chap. Next time we're passing through we'll definitely call in again for a chinwag, good beer and home cooked food....read full review
Superb Pub/ Restaurant. Landlord witty and good fun, landlady superb. Beautiful food prepared and served with pride and care. Chances upon this pub and we were blown away by the charm of the building and the hosts. Plus it’s dog friendly too. Thank you.
