“As always, our recent visit was perfect! The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the lovely youngsters always welcome us with a smile and have a very pleasant attitude. The food is always amazing (the lamb roast is out of this world), and the delicious desserts never fail to please. In the warmer weather it is such a pleasure to sit outside on the delightful terrace with beautiful views, and when the weather turns colder, the interior is always warm and cosy, especially when the fire is going strong! It's a pleasure all year round to eat at the wonderful King William IV.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is a coeliac, and her dietary requirements are always catered for very well”

“Absolutely beautiful setting (outdoor terrace area - views over Boxhill) the service was great and the food was excellent - particularly enjoyed the Chef's (taster) starter of foccacia bread with rosemary/thyme and honeycomb butter! I chose the chicken, ham hock and leek pie which was delicious!”
