I have been coming to this establishment for years whenever I am making the crossing to Spain.The place is simply fantastic . Outstanding service and food apart from being a lovely spot.Today i had dessert and i can tell it was one of the most delicious things I ever had: white chocolate cheesecake with matcha ice-cream, simply delicious.For sure the stag on the river is a mandatory stop in years to come, definitely.

Had a superb New Year's evening meal in the covered outdoor area. The table service, food and bar staff were all exceptionally good, especially as we were a very large group.Food & drinks: I head roast pork belly which was cooked perfectly as were the veg. Gravy, Yorkshire's and spuds were all seemingly endless. Really pleased at how quickly the food came for such a large group (we had pre-ordered).
