Standard pub fare - not the sort of food you'd travel to eat, but equally you won't have your soul crushed if you need to stop off here for a bite. Decent beer garden out the back.
Consistently great pub. Everyone who works here is warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Very dog friendly, with dogs positively welcomed and spoiled rotten during their visit! Food is excellent and generous and there are gardens front and back which are well maintained and lovely to sit in on a warm day. Was disappointed to find that no food was being served for lunch and was informed that the chef just hadn't turned up for work. The last meal I had here was excellent, but on this occasion I was forced to dine elsewhere.
