Superbe food and service. Excellent garden area with a massive gold fish tank. Very entertaining. Food is not cheap but very good quality.

Bird In Hand - Woking

This review is long overdue! After spending a significant amount of time searching for a spot to enjoy a pub meal at an establishment with good vegetarian options, I stumbled upon this place. It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely, the food was fresh and delicious and I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. It’s so rare to find spacious dining. This meal felt private and the table could perfectly fit on everything we ordered. Trust me when I say, there was a lot of food involved. The Camembert sharing platter was definitely the star. The jams were divine. Personally, I would save this place for a special occasion because it deserves that ode. But I think they do live music so don’t limit your visits to birthdays and anniversaries if that’s what you enjoy!

The Red Lion, Horsell

We booked a table at The Red Lion for Sunday lunch and had a fantastic experience. We went for the two-course menu (£25) and chose desserts instead of starters.\n\nAll the roast options—beef, lamb, chicken, pork, etc.—were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The vegetables came out separately, which was a nice touch and meant everything stayed fresh and hot.\n\nFor dessert, we had the banoffee sundae and hazelnut doughnuts, both of which were delicious and a perfect end to the meal.\n\nA special shout out to Frankie, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.\n\nHighly recommend for a quality Sunday roast!

Nags Head Inn Woking

My family and I recently went here for Dinner and I jut gotta say the vibes, the food and the drinks were amazing. We were served by Kerri that evening and she attended to us a lot, making sure we were enjoying our stay and food. She was very nice. I’d love to visit again omg.

Beit Beirut

Loved this place, food was amazing. And really generous. The host was very friendly and talked us through wine and food options. It’s really worth a visit. Cost very reasonable too!

I love you guys. i've never been in this branch, but every single time i order its packaged with care, made extremely well and on time, seriously you put other subway branches to shame. It's so nice to order without any worries. Thanks a lot.

Everest Spice Woking

I cannot praise this place enough. The only negative is we like the food so much, it has ruined curries at almost any other place.

The owner Vijay is a fantastic human being and always makes us feel so welcome.

If going on Friday and Saturday would recommend booking and be prepared for a slightly slower service as they are usually really busy, but it is definitely worth the wait.

The Sun Inn

Grace is a stand out. Atrentive, nothing was a problem and always wanting to please.

I ordered a whole lemon & herbs chicken and it was absolutely delicious! The food never disappoints. Jesmina was polite and friendly as always, which made the experience even better. Great food and wonderful staff – highly recommended!

The Drumming Snipe

I go to the Drumming Snipe in Mayford for drinks with friends and sometimes food, and it’s always a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is quick, and the food and drinks are spot on. A special mention to Dominica, the manageress – she’s always professional, super efficient and genuinely happy, which makes every visit even better.

Slug & Lettuce - Woking

Came in over the weekend and received absolutely amazing service. The team that were working were quick and very polite even when they were busy. The drinks we had were made to perfection and when asking what their recommendations were they suggested the Peach Paloma which was really refreshing. Plus the food was really tasty and hot. Also the atmosphere in the evening was awesome the music, lights and DJ was great. Will definitely be coming back with friends next time so they can experience it as well.

Subway

Services are great, friendly staff, you can create your own meal or try subway's series, they have brought new sauces as well. You can have the salad box, wraps or buy a sandwich, make it a meal deal at an affordable price. The new raspberry cookie is great in taste. All the meat was very fresh. The new Chipotle cheesy bite was the best, spicy and cheesy. Poppins Woking

Again lovely restaurant, friendly staff, good food, fairly priced. Some of the chairs inside are a bit small tho. All around very happy, can recommend the milkshakes.

Ripley Curry Garden

The food was absolutely exquisite! Very unique and complex flavours. Best curry I’ve ever had outside of a Michelin Star. Service was also excellent and the Kingfisher lager was conditioned perfectly.

Bulgogi

This is a fantastic find in Woking: visit now before everyone else discovers this Woking Gem. The charge attention to detail is very personal and we felt care for especially with one of our party of 5 who is coeliac. Korean cucumber may not sound inspirational, but it’s the perfect combination of cold, fruity, and underrated spice. I’ve never been in a restaurant where the male toilets have the toilet paper folded, as evidence of the high priority they place on cleanliness. The extra birthday candles with Korean singing of the birthday song through the speaker was just the cherry on the high cuisine Korean cake

Royal Oak

My first visit here, and it won't be my last. Had booked a table, but actually for a Saturday, I was told, we didn't need to book. Good to know. Staff very friendly, and food very good.

We will return. Thank you to all the staff. We had a very pleasant evening ?

The Seven Stars

Nice pub. Staff v friendly. We only ate fries but the Sunday roasts looked great. Beer garden could do with larger outdoor tables and more in the shade. I am sure the managers will do that as they have made the inside of the pub lovely. Will come back

Just excellent my daughter and I had flown on to meet some family and friends at Toby cottage. Just super. Well done everyone. The he'll of the m25 being closed did now spoil our day.

Latino Ristorante Italiano

We have been coming here as a family for many years and the service and quality of the food never disappoints. We chose if for my mum's 80th and Latino kindly let us use the upper dining area for 14 of us. We didn't have to pre-order and the food was excellent and impressed everyone. Astrid was our waitress and coped really well with the old through to two babies - thank you, Astrid and thank you Latino!.

East West

This is our 3rd order from here and its been exceptional every time. We order via the JustEat app and every time it has arrived earlier than predicted. The food is always hot and really tasty. We have tried lots of takeaways around us and this is by far the best we have had.

My wife and I stayed here early May and have done so several times beforehand. Great room, food and service as always but a special mention to Katherine (with a 'K'), she is a constant shining star for The Inn at West End with a perfect balance of familiarity and professionalism.

Highly recommended.

During our recent lunch at the Four Horseshoes with my mother and fiancé, we were thoroughly impressed by the exquisite food and the lovely ambience of the restaurant. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing quality ingredients and skillful presentation. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal setting for our meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience.

We love that the Wheatsheaf is dog friendly. A huge thank you to Tyler, Jorja and Alex who go out of their way to make the Wheatsheaf a special place to visit. The White Hart

Visited as they were hosting the local Craft group. Plenty of parking, very pleasant staff, and a guy who can make my coffee as weak as I love it to be. I didn't eat this visit but have previously and the food was delicious.

Astalet Cafe Woking

Prices were a little higher compared to other cafes but Astalet Cafe were great with preparing our food. Lovely clean place and happy atmosphere. I'll definitely be going again.

White Hart Pirbright

We live in Pirbright and have known The White Hart for many years. Visited in January to see recent refurbishments and were very impressed. In particular we wish to mention two staff who waited on our table. Nick and Will were outstanding. Each enhanced our experience. Both were thoughtful, efficient and entertaining, each an absolute delight who deserve their own particular mention.

The Anchor

Outstanding food, warm relaxed service. Intimate place but has a lovely ambience and feel to it. Second visit, but will be followed by a third very soon. Highly recommended.

Wild Bean Cafe

Always magic staff ! And £1 hot drinks for Ambulance staff ! Great tasting bean too, i always buy a tasty snack - The Almond Croissants are the **Bees Knees** ♡ they also do alternative milks for coffee etc.... Coconut and Soya & will heat it up for you if you want a fluffy white Americano ! ??

good service from a woman called Siobana (i think her name was) she was very friendly and had really good customer service made us feel very welcomed thank you!!

Cafe Lisboa

Randomly dined here because this was one of those independent places in Woking.It was Portuguese so you will find the usual sweet suspects like coxhinxa and feijoada.Unfortunately they didn't have francesinha which only some places offer.However they served clams and squid.Tried lula de creme which was baby squid in a creamy sauce served with Bens original style rice and flat chips.The baby squid was tender and delicious, tentacles included.The chips were amazing dipped in that creamy sauce.I wasn't fond of the rice hence left it to last when I found something that didn't belong to me nor the lady at the till as we both have hair blond hair.In the kitchen, there was someone with long brunette hair though.Apart from that, everything was fantastic.

Jeitta

I pre-ordered a large takeaway menu for a garden party of 50 people with lots of vegetarians, some non-beef and non-pork guests so Lebanese was a natural choice. Have eaten at Jeitta many times and always enjoyed the food. They were very helpful in discussing options. Food came exactly at the time we'd ordered, was beautifully prepared and everyone commented on how delicious it was.

Vegetarian options: Falafel, halloumi, fattoush salad, tabboulleh, moutabel, houmous

Food is reasonable,portion size let's say a little on the small size, prices a little high , overall O.K. but would certainly not rush to go back or use as a regular venue. Just O.K.

Used the takeaway for the first time, will definitely be using again. The food was delicious, hot and tasty. The price was really reasonable and the portion sizes where a good too.

Eastern & Oriental Restaurant (Chobham)

Our 62nd anniversary celebration. Just the 2 of us. This is a gorgeous Location, restaurant and should have been a very special evening meal. We had wished to book for 19,30but had to settle for 20.00. Everything was fine. Easy to order a great choice and the food was perfectly cooked, served and all we could have wished for. I had 2 beers and my husband a bottle of red wine. \nUnfortunately at 21.30 the noise of the vacuum cleaner and general feeling that we had outstayed our allocated time here made us most uncomfortable so I asked for the bill and that we could take the remainder of our meal home to eat in comfort. We left at 21.53 when I phoned our daughter for a lift home. \nI shall return to this restaurant. We did not order more than we could have had in the advertised menu. It was just the fact that it was made obvious that we had outstayed our time there.

Pret A Manger

Pret A Manger woking is prime located in town centre and is cosy as well as spacious over 2 floors. I had cappuccino with oat milk and barista who made it bearing in mind my requirement of extra hot and that’s exactly how I got it. Will go there again.

Domino's Pizza - Woking

Decent pizzas here, could have had more sauce. Timing is generally good. Didn't get food poisoning as I have with others in the area, so already a better start

Caffè Nero

Upon my visit to Woking I popped into Caffe Nero for a Cappuccino.
My first visit to this outlet as I usually use my local outlet in Staines-upon-Thames.
Tha staff were polite and helpful.
I ordered a large cappuccino and a hot chocolate .
The hot chocolate was for my wife who commented that she really enjoyed the flavour.
My cappuccino was really tasty so a very pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink .

Sea Salt

Solid 10/10!!!

The family and I just demolished a delicious fish and chips! Highly recommend!
Also, make sure you get the curry sauce, unbelievable.

The New Inn

Very nice pub with an outdoor seating area facing the river. Very nice and helpful staff. Terrible coffe? so you may want to choose something else. But the place and staff super welcoming and polite.

Knaphill Fish Bar

First class fish and chips. Came in with a group of hungry friends and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Generous portions of cod and chips cooked to order. Highly recommended.

Heather Farm Cafe

Delicious afternoon tea for myself and 3 friends. The cafe was extremely busy and inside was very noisy but we were looked after by a very friendly team. Special thanks to Shelley ?

The Jovial Sailor Ripley

Absolutely brilliant establishment!
The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really relaxing.
The menu has a nice big range of different meals to suit everyone.
The staff even added a candle to one of the puddings as we were celebrating a birthday, even though I was joking they did it anyway!! Absolutely brilliant place to go and we will definitely be visiting again! Big ?

The Garibaldi

Had the 8oz Smokedhouse Steak with fried eggs on a bed of posh Mac & Cheese with roasted cherry tomatoes-on-the-vine. It was delicious, the meat was very tender and cooked to medium to perfection. The Mac & Cheese and roasted tomatoes were very tasty. Overall a wonderfull meal.

The Cosy Coffee House.

Lovely cafe. This is a must visit and stay a while! The staff are kind and welcoming. House made pastries. Scones are top notch! Wonderful cappuccino…pairs perfectly with jam & cream on scone. *There are stairs to get to cafe*

The Saddlers Arms

Absolutely delicious food. We had Proper cheesey chips and two pizzas that were absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and polite and there is a variety of drinks available including some non alcoholic options. Parking available too.

The SHIP INN

Only had a couple of pints and must say very nice. Had the London pride and was perfect. Great service from the lady behind the bar and a very reasonable price for the part of the country. Yes I will return thank you.

Blue India Chobham

Went for the special in the menu was stunning like a more flavoursome but delicate bhuna chicken was soooo succulent never had such tender chicken naan stunning rice beautiful and Seasoned well service perfect. Second time here highly recommended ?

Nando's Woking

Everything is reasonably priced. As for the chicken, the chicken thighs are more delicious. The butterfly chicken breasts are a little dry. Overall, they are pretty good.

Fresch Coffee House

We used this company for a corporate breakfast. Not only was the food amazing but the service leading up to it was also incredible!! Really timely reply's and accommodating for all types of dietary requirements. I couldn't recommend more!!!

The Café at Christ Church - the cafe is inside the church

Lovely cafe with plenty of sitting and delicious food. We recently discovered this cafe and visiting almost every Saturday for brunch after our library rhyme time session with our little one. Staff is friendly and food is reasonably priced. Highly recommended this cafe in Woking.
And this cafe is temporary closed from 2 March till September for renovations.

Princess

I have been there for a few Brazilian theme parties and the food was great, the atmosphere was great too and the service and price of the drinks were great too. Nice pub to go and have a good time.

Starbucks Coffee

The girls in this branch are lovely. Despite changing my drink all the time, they know that I always come for my favourite and still asks if I want that. I am always happy to get my coffee at Woking Starbucks station.

The Sandwich Board

Lovely cafe with great food and coffees for very reasonable prices !! We had a great sit in experience and loved the freshly made toasties. Whilst there saw they also do takeaway so will definitely be backDietary restrictions: I am dairy free and this was easily catered for.

Really impressed with this branch.
Warm atmosphere inside, despite the rush hour business.
What really impressed me was the attentiveness of the staff - bringing food/drinks to the table promptly, proactively clearing finished items. And with a smile!
Excellent value for money in an expensive Surrey commuter town. Hearty portions too. What's not to like?

Cafe Primo Horsell

We love this place. So friendly & full of life- a gem of the area. The pasta is our fav- made from the heart and the sauces are so good, real quality Italian homemade!!\n We tried a couple of their cake slices to go this time and omg they were out of this world! The biscoff cheesecake and apple one.- insanely good.

Hen & Chickens

A brilliant local village pub with a really nice pub garden, great atmosphere and super friendly staff! The food vans (Thurs night BBQ and Fri night Pizza) are a great addition too. Highly recommend!!!

Milano Pizza

Visited Milano Pizza in Woking, good service for take away. Freshly baked pizzas with amazing flavours toppings, highly recommended. It's hard to beat them on taste. Parking on site available along with petrol station and a Tesco Express. They deliver aswell. Xtra large pizza 18" costs only £11.99 collection.

Bep Viet Restaurant

Absolutely love the food here at Bep Viet in Woking - whenever we go into town we'll get something from here.\n\nMost recently we enjoyed their vermicelli noodles with barbeque chicken, a beef Pho and baguette but there are many other dishes and combinations we look forward to trying each time.\n\nThe guys there are great. Highly recommended!

Bakers Dozen

Good quality food and fantastic service! The bakery doubles as the village post office. The range isn’t as extensive as some other bakeries but what they do sell is delicious! The lady behind the counter today was brilliant too - customer focused and service driven! A wonderful little bakery which I’ll be sure to visit again next time I find myself in Brookwood.

New Garden Chinese Takeway

Pretty standard Chinese food, but really good portions and the basics done better than average. The sesame prawn toast, for example, had a lovely thick layer of prawns. Don't take card though, which is really annoying in a village with no atm.

Hands down the best peri peri chicken I've had today! The flavors were on point, and the chicken was cooked to perfection - juicy and tender. The peri peri sauce added just the right amount of spice and flavor. I ordered the full chicken with lemon and herb sauce and was blown away by the quality. The Fries portion size was generous, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend! 5 stars isn't enough, I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Pizza Go Go

The best pizza I've ever had is averagely priced. Honestly, the service may not be perfect because English is not their first language, although they have very fast service too; sometimes they come out and deliver the pizza to my car, which is actually good service. Seriously, it should be rated higher than 3.1.Parking: You can just park outside for a couple minutes. Just make sure to call prior on what you want for collection as it is a taxi rank.

I came into town and me and my daughter didn’t know what to have so we try this today, have to say it was amazing it was lovely the chicken was so lovely we enjoyed it so much . Thank you so much ?
