Went with 2 friends today/ one vegan and she ordered vegan pie, I ordered chicken pie and other friend ordered fish. She got my pie and I got vegan. I chose not to have line replaced as I had already lost appetite and didn’t want to wait any longer to eat .the fish was good, the replaced vegan pie was good, I did without anything. Been here a few times for Sunday lunch and decided to come to celebrate New Year's Eve. Had an absolutely fabulous afternoon and my Sunday roast was exceptional. I asked for pink beef and yes it delivered. Pink perfection and melt in the mouth. Yorkshire puddings like pillows and roasties to die for. Gravy and veg just right. Came here as part of a group night out, starter was lovely but I was disappointed with the main. Staff we dealt with were lovely, very friendly and interested in talking to the group. Great music in the background, loud enough to hear it but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation.
