18 Market St, AberaeronWe had our lunch here today. The food was excellent, there was a good choice of drinks and the guy who served us was very friendly and helpful. The produce in the deli looked great too. We've struggled to find somewhere nice for lunch in Aberaeron previously, but struck lucky here. We'll be back.

31 Sgwar Alban, AberaeronSo delighted that the Black Lion is under new management, totally refurbished in get style. Must visit to see the wonderful decor, throughout. We chose to sit outside in the backyard ( plenty of seating) on a sunny evening. Staff so friendly, it was nicely busy with a mix of groups and couples. Great log burner in one of the lounges for those chilly days. Really looking forward to trying their food next. Upstairs restaurant looked so inviting with stunning decor and overlooking Alban Square. I wish the best of luck to the new management and team. A great asset for Aberaeron.

Harbourmaster Hotel
1 Quay Parade, AberaeronWe ate tonight. Keian was brilliant throughout. Explained that we had a 30 minute wait. No problem. Had a great seat an a beer while waiting. The food and service was exceptional. My lamb meal was beautifully cooked. More importantly, my Wife's fish meal trout was superb. The experience was quality.

35 Sgwar Alban, AberaeronHere on holiday and looked up where I could get a nice breakfast and coffee and this place didn't disappoint. It's so nice, the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and the coffee was excellent. We definitely want to come back and try the lunch menu!

8 Cadwgan Pl, AberaeronManuka catered for my party of 70, with a request for mostly vegetarian with meat options for non veggies. Sara and her team produced the most amazing food, taste and beautiful flavours , wow. So many party guests commented on the beautiful food. Thank you Manuka ❤️

Interesting menu with plenty of choice and good value for the quality Our server was friendly and personable, able to offer advice on menu choices for food and drinks and all round did a great job but our drinks order was wrong twice which is a minus point but not one I'd take too much umbrage over.

The castle is probaly the best normal pub in town good selection of beers and nice outdoor street seating

7 Sgwar Alban, AberaeronWe drove to the beach yesterday as a special trip; my mum is 88. The service, quality and price were excellent.\nThe fish pieces were tender and tasty. The highlight post fish and chips was the hot chocolate. Brody went out of his way to provide the perfect hot drink, deconstructed to make transportation to our vehicle trouble-free and enabling my lovely mum to scoop into her cup as much cream and as many marshmallows as she wanted. She was so happy and grateful, as are we. A shout out to Brody and the wonderful, dedicated takeaway staff.

Cadwgan Place, AberaeronFirst visit to The Hive for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Most of us had the full English and all agreed it was well worth the £13. The photo below says it all...a full plate of well cooked food. All great quality with the exception of the sausage (but that was perfectly acceptable at this price). Don't miss out on the milk shake (guzzled by Meghan)..Great presentation and flavour.

34 Sgwar Alban, AberaeronDriving back from Aberystwyth to Haven West Quay and decided to pick up a takeaway on the way through, had read several reviews slating this place but it's the only Chinese for miles and the reviews for New Quay Chinese were even worse and it has zero parking... So we gave it a try.
Honestly we couldn't fault it! Staff were friendly, wait time was less than 15 minutes and the food was lovely and still hot after the 15 minute drive back to the caravan.
Will be be going back if we are ever in the area again.
The only thing to note is that it is cash only, there are 2 ATMs on the high street though so not a big issue as long as you are aware ?
