Found this absolute gem by sheer chance on the last day of a recent trip to Wales. The food was beautifully prepared and served and tasted amazing. Service also excellent. I'm just sad that we can't go back there for more. Highly recommend this place if you're local or visiting .

What a fantastic Baker's shop this is, their bread is fantastic. I always had stomach problems super market bread and when we moved down here we started using Bara Gwalia for bread and my stomach problems related to bread ended.They also do fantastic pies and pasties, (I had one this morning). Absolutely brilliant bakery, I would recommend that anyone who is in or around Llanybydder try their bread etc.

Popped in for a drink. We were made to feel very welcome by staff and customers. Dog friendly, too. Lovely atmosphere and well decorated . We will definitely be visiting again. ?

China Wok

I placed my order and was told it would take 5 minutes which really surprised me as that seems far too quick for it to be fresh. I was the only customer. I went to draw out some cash a few buildings away and it was sitting ready for when I returned. I ordered chicken and cashew nuts but you couldn't tell as there were only a small number of cashews amongst the other ingredients. The sauce was too thick and I had pieces of the tougher outer layer of onion included which was not good. The rice and sesame toast were good though. They also only take cash which is not something I tend to use so I'm not likely to go back given the quality of my main course which is a shame as it's local.
