2 day stay for new year. Room clean, comfy beds but no electrical points near the bed.Meal on the first night was lovely although they had run out of our first choice.Staff were lovely, bar staff made lush espresso martinis.1st breakfast was good, very good pastries. 2nd day was buiser and the standard of food was unfortunate. Food was ok. Service was excellent. Dawn our waitress was very efficient. Warm and cosy. Had the food been a bit better, I would have given 5 stars, as I feel I've has better food at other venues in Brecon.
We love coming back to The Wellington Hotel in Brecon. Warm welcome and really attentive and friendly personnel. The rooms are good value: simple but with everything you need. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy (especially if you are in one of the seats next to the fireplace). The menu offers a wide selection of tasty food.
