The Old Library Community Cafe
The Old Library, Nantgarw Rd, CaerphillyA lovely community cafe, with board games and incredibly welcoming staff. Really close to the castle and some local parks. Toilets have child sized toilet facilities and baby changing available a d there is an area for parents with babies and toddlers, so the kids can play safely. Dogs are wekcome too. All in all a really nice little cafe that I can't wait to visit again. The food and drinks were amazing too!

Great staff with a vibrant atmosphere inside, The store is clean and tidied regularly and always has products neatly organised. I have been using this store for a long time now and decided for the updated review to take the children along, Personal orders of choice are sausagerolls and cappuccino.
As mentioned, the staff are always friendly and welcoming to customers while remiaing polite and professional often provide good conversation and information relating to promotions. Rated Now 5* following a consistent 2 years of great customer service and a friendly atmosphere

Camonbert sharer with hot bread and onion chutney was a winner and the stilton and steak pie was stunning. Our waitress Bo was lovley and looked after us. will definitely be returning.

Crossways Business Park, Pontypandy Ln, CaerphillyCame in for breakfast on a cold windy morning not being able to feel my fingers and was met with a wonderfully warm greeting from Madison and Charlie. A lovely cooked breakfast arrived promptly. Endless coffees kept me warm for a few hours after.
Only negative I could find was the restaurant could do with a revamp.

When it came to pay my bill, my banking app in my wallet online would not work, despite repeated attempts. I was very stressed, as I was desperate to pay the bill. Scott took the pressure off me and waived the £8.75 as a gesture of goodwill. I cannot tell you how grateful I was, it was a very unexpected thing. I will be visiting again, with large gang of friends in the future. I will then pay that money as a tip. What an asset that man is to your company.

Angel House is most definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the Caerphilly area. It could possibly be the best in South Wales! I haven't tried a single dish from the menu that I have not enjoyed... And I absolutely love their pancake rolls, which they cram with meat. Soooo tasty!!

Service was good but the young lad who was serving meals/clearing tables didn't look very happy but was nice & polite. Nice atmosphere & not too noisy although there were alot of people in there. There is plenty of sitting room available with an upstairs sitting area also. Highly recommend eating in here or just for a drink.

I decided to give it a go, I think it's almost impossible to get fish and chips wrong.The place was nice, perfectly adequate, the service was quick enough and definitely friendly and the atmosphere was as a "chip shop" so a winner there too.If it was my place, I would do 3 things differently.I would check the oil quality and get something better. This is a shop selling deep fried food, the oil is one of the most important things in there, don't go cheap on your tools.The salt and vinegar wasn't great, as above, I'd go for the chip shop special vinegar and decent salt rather than table salt but to be fair, most people wouldn't know the difference.Potatoes are the last thing I'd change. There are only 2 potato varieties you can use for quality chips. They're expensive by comparison but everyone can taste the difference with those.In balance, I was expecting bad because the feedback I'd had but was impressed.Worth a try, not going to win any awards but perfectly adequate and friendly
