Good place, stayed for 2 nights in the large room. Good lager and well priced, friendly and helpful bar staff.Toilet, bath, shower and rooms were to an excellent standard. Only annoyance was the side door with code got stuck when I returned late. Also, the door handle to my room was loose, not a massive issue as I tightened it but I did ask for a screw driver and didn't get one to sort the issue.There was music going on until closing time. A decent selection of beers and ciders. Ample room and friendly enough. The decor could use some work, and a wider selection of ales - if not on tap, then in bottles - would be nice. Centrally located to the town, though,which is nice.

Popped in Sunday evening. They normally stop serving Sunday dinner at 6pm, but they offered to put together a meal for us regardless. Result! Food was great & included pudding! and the service was second to non. So friendly, and they couldn't do enough for us. Made for a great evening ? Highly recommended. It's the people that make all the difference. Check it out.
