First time here since the pub reopened. Great food with gluten- free options. Lunch with friends. We all enjoyed our mains and yummy puddings! Two had the mushroom risotto (creamy and tasty!) and one had the pie of the day with mash, veg and gravy. They said it was the best pie they've ever had! Beef Nightjar pie. On 2 December the two of us had the Festive Menu for lunch. We had the smoked trout and game pate for starters followed by pork loin and hake as main course. It was delicious and well presented. Sarah was an excellent host. We give them 5 stars!

Great spot for lunch or dinner or just a pint of local Wye Valley or Kingstone beer Attentive staff and a wood burner gives the pub a welcoming feel. There’s a good range of food - well cooked and presented with delicious deserts We will definitely be returning and supporting this pub that is such an important part of the local community
