Lovely location, good beer and interior but the nut roast Sunday lunch option was very disappointing - basically a gloopy brown-coloured rice mixture shoved in a mould a with a few pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries on top to give the appearance of a nut roast. If there were any nuts in it, I couldn't detect any. The gravy had the uniform colour and flavour of granules too and the veg was average. Our hiking group called in here for lunch on Saturday. It's our 2nd time ,and both times have been good.It's clean,dog friendly, and very popular. The food is wonderful, and a pot of tea gives 6 cups.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars this time is because they forgot to order our desserts (churros) we waited over half an hour and had to ask them again. A friendly stop right in the middle of town.As a Robinson's brewery, I really like a pint of 'Dizzy Blonde' with their cheesy garlic bread.Lovely, friendly staff.I keep going back!
