Pulled up and to be honest the outside was messy so wasn't expecting a whole bunch. Got inside and WOW, amazing atmosphere and beautiful little gem inside. Turns out it's going through some updating works at the mo, can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done. There were 5 of us (2 adults 1 tween +2 high chair takers) and the kids loved the food, the adults loved the food more more. When it came to the bill, the adults REALLY loved it. Honestly give this place a try, doesn't look like much from outside right now but it's beautiful inside and the food was excellent.Vegetarian options: The Mediterranean tart was awesome and the portion size was great too. I'm a big guy but also vegetarian and I love a place that serves a decent side vegetarian dish ?

A welcome sight after a long walk. Pleased to find this proper village pub open when I stopped by late afternoon. Enjoyed a warm welcome and a couple of well served pints.
