The Lion Inn Pub
Tyddyn Deicws, Gwytherin, AbergeleAbsolutely delightful country pub nestled in the charming village of Gwytherin. Ben & Sarah’s hospitality is second to none—so warm and inviting that you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. The food selection is fantastic, with a variety of delicious options, but the pizzas? Simply out of this world—highly recommended! We had an absolute blast at the quiz night, surrounded by friendly locals in an atmosphere that was just perfect. This pub is truly a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit. Diolch yn fawr for the wonderful experience, Ben & Sarah. I can’t wait to return soon!

Jade 2 Chinese Takeaway
21 Heol Yr Orsaf Station Rd, LlanrwstWe're slowly working our way through the pubs and restaurants in Llanrwst and so far we're having a great time. Thought we'd have a Chinese meal tonight and walked to Jade 2 as it's on a narrow street and difficult to park outside without blocking traffic. We ordered a Special Kung Po and a Sweet and sour chicken. The staff were very pleasant and nice to deal with. Prices were very reasonable and minimal waiting time. I really don't know how they cooked two meals so quickly. We also got a free bag of prawn crackers thrown in. Anyway we walked back home to eat the meals. When we put them out they both looked delicious. After eating them I must say I thought that they were the best Chinese meals we've ever had. They were both huge portions and were cooked to perfection. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Think we'll go back again tomorrow as we enjoyed it so much.

La Barrica
20 Ancaster Square, LlanrwstSat outside on a lovelly summer morning gorgeous eating full English with a cuppa. Tea is extra so was about £16 for big breakfast and tea, not the cheapest but was nice.

Ty Asha Balti House
4 Denbigh St, LlanrwstVery nice curry house. I would recommend the chicken balti as it had a great range of flavours and it (and every other curry there) was reasonably priced. Overall, a great place for a curry in Llanryst.

Rwst Holiday Lodges
Betws Rd, LlanrwstWe spent two nights here over a weekend in August—just under £200—and honestly, that felt like a bargain. The log cabin vibe was spot on for what the kids needed, and the setting in the village of Llanrwst is charming (and handy, with a few shops close by).
We had a cracking time—it hit the spot perfectly. If I'm being picky, the place could do with a light spruce-up here and there, but it didn’t take away from what was a relaxing, fun break.
Overall? Exactly what we needed and more. Highly recommend for families looking for a straightforward and cosy escape.”

Llanrwst Kebab House
8 Bridge St, LlanrwstAs the only kebab shop in town they have a bit of a monopoly. Llanrwst is a bit short of takeaways in the evenings. But I must say that the meals are not too bad at all. I had a donner and chicken combo and it was very filling, quite good portions. I would try it out again.

The Pen Y Bryn
Ancaster Square, LlanrwstAbsolutely stunning sports bar, great atmosphere, and a great vibe, massive beer garden with a T.V outside. Bar staff are brilliant and the landlady was warm and welcoming.
