The Lion Inn Pub
Tyddyn Deicws, Gwytherin, AbergeleAbsolutely delightful country pub nestled in the charming village of Gwytherin. Ben & Sarah’s hospitality is second to none—so warm and inviting that you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. The food selection is fantastic, with a variety of delicious options, but the pizzas? Simply out of this world—highly recommended! We had an absolute blast at the quiz night, surrounded by friendly locals in an atmosphere that was just perfect. This pub is truly a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit. Diolch yn fawr for the wonderful experience, Ben & Sarah. I can’t wait to return soon!

La Barrica
20 Ancaster Square, LlanrwstSat outside on a lovelly summer morning gorgeous eating full English with a cuppa. Tea is extra so was about £16 for big breakfast and tea, not the cheapest but was nice.

4 Denbigh St, LlanrwstAbsolutely the best Indian takeaway I have ever had and I have had many good ones over the years.
The butter chicken was genuinely the best I have tasted. Rich, silky and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or heavy. The pilau rice was light and beautifully flavoured. The keema naan was as good as it gets, soft, fresh and properly filled. We also had a mixed meat kebab and bhaji, both cooked perfectly.
What a find. I live in Glan Conwy but I will happily make the drive regularly. You can see into the open kitchen and the chefs are all smartly dressed and clearly take pride in what they are doing. It really shows in the food. The staff were lovely as well, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
So happy to have discovered this place!

Llanrwst Kebab House
8 Bridge St, LlanrwstAs the only kebab shop in town they have a bit of a monopoly. Llanrwst is a bit short of takeaways in the evenings. But I must say that the meals are not too bad at all. I had a donner and chicken combo and it was very filling, quite good portions. I would try it out again.

Rwst Holiday Lodges
Betws Rd, LlanrwstGreat location with mix of scenic views and close to shops as well. I would highly recommend. Had small issue on arrival which was nothing to do with RWST but nonetheless Matthew from RWST stopped to rectify in speedy manner.

Ancaster Square, LlanrwstAbsolutely stunning sports bar, great atmosphere, and a great vibe, massive beer garden with a T.V outside. Bar staff are brilliant and the landlady was warm and welcoming.
