The Wain-Y-Clare
Usk Rd, Penperlleni, PontypoolThe pork loin was very minimal for the price, and I was a little gutted but yasted ok. So basically, the pork dish consisted of four small cuts of pork, mash, carrots, and asparagus for £14.95. I felt a bit done in to be fair. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you and even fond the time to have a conversation with you which is nice. The grounds outside was lovely for the little ones to play.

The Teazer village pub lou & Gav
58 The Highway, New Inn, PontypoolNew owner took the time to come and have a chat to my friend and I even though we were sitting outside. Inside and toilets all very clean and seemed like a good old fashioned 'proper pub' - not following the crowd and doing food. Can't wait to go there again to meet his wife and have a real night out.

The Horse & Jockey
Usk Rd, PontypoolBEST apple crumble !!! Our servers, Alice and Jamie, were very nice and helpful. The beef stroganoff came with both chips and rice which was a bit odd, but the crumbed brie bites were delish !!
