Pete the owner is a true gentleman, he keeps the fire lit when it's chilly, cooks the most wonderful homely food and runs a truly friendly fun pub environment that even visiting as a single female makes me feel totally safe.
Very reasonable prices, lovely staff and friendly customers. Definitely recommend ?

Harrisons Bakery & Bistro
Sycamore St, Newcastle EmlynLovely friendly staff and served us even though they were almost closing. Absolutely delicious fish finger baguette with tartare sauce; bread was amazing and all beautifully presented with coleslaw, crisps and a small dressed salad. The lady even brought some biscuits out for our doggies.\nWe sat outside in the pretty, quirky tea garden behind the shop.\nLoved it and would highly recommend.

The Mill Cafe and Bar
Felin Geri, Cwm-cou, Newcastle EmlynWe stumbled on this place by accident when trying to find somewhere to eat when passing through Newcastle Emlyn. They weren't doing a full menu as bank holiday weekend, but our burgers were really tasty and the pizzas looked really good.

MOES SPICE LTD
Market Square, Newcastle EmlynThis is a jewel of a restaurant. The staff are so welcoming, accommodating and professional. The restaurant is super clean, fresh and attractive. The food is made with exquisite care, the freshest ingredients and never dissapoints.
We have dined there with elderly family, children and friends all have left feeling full, spoilt and looking forward to returning.
Thank you to all staff for running a top restaurant.

The Bunch of Grapes
Bridge St, Newcastle EmlynOnly pub with food we could find open on a Monday. Quite busy and clearly popular with workmen/tradies. Good menu choices and service. 1 star removed as the bar area was busy and loud with unsuitable language for children.

Cawdor Terrace, Newcastle EmlynCan’t recommend Flames enough ? The staff are always so lovely, happy and chatty — nothing ever feels like too much trouble. Portions are really generous (I usually struggle to finish!), the menu has loads to choose from, and the food always tastes great. Definitely one of my favourite takeaways!

Super Garden
Red Cow, Adpar, Newcastle EmlynI drive 40 minutes out of my way to collect, it's hands down the best chinese around by a mile.(I'm kind of relieved I don't live closer to the Super Garden, I'd be the size of a house otherwise. Delicious food)
