Got a takeaway earlier on my way home from work, I’ve been meaning to try it for a while, but never got around to it. I’m so glad I tried it, it’s up there with the best burgers I’ve had! I had a burger from the hills and there’s really no competition between them. Service was good too, food was made quickly and staff were polite. Will definitely be back!

myself and family came to your restaurant tonight and couldn't be happier. the food was fresh, tasty and beautiful. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. we will definitely be returning and for any pizza lovers, wow best I've had in a long time. Called into the Grand Sultan on the off chance on Saturday, luckily there was a table available. You can always tell the folk is really good when not only is the restaurant full, but there’s a huge queue for takeaway.

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was beautiful, and plentiful, so much so, I could not finish it and they offered to box it up for me to eat at home.

The cost was lower than expected considering the quality of the food, service and venue. I look forward to returning.

We had such a wonderful welcome by staff and locals, when visiting today, We took Arlo, a little dachshund, who was spoilt by attentive staff, and we then chose the early bird menu, cod and chips, which was absolutely gorgeous. It was a privilege to visit a 'proper pub' with excellent food and a wide variety of drinks, but it was the staff and locals which made our visit, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

I visited The Brit in Cwmafon this evening with a good friend — my first time back since pre-COVID, and it’s clearly had a wonderful transformation under the new ownership. The decor is eclectic, fun and full of charm, creating a really welcoming atmosphere.\n\nOur server, Kelly, was bright, friendly, and attentive from the moment I arrived. She promptly took my drink order while I waited for my friend and brought over a menu — great service with a genuine smile.\n\nIt was such a pleasant surprise to see that around a third of the menu is vegan, and not just the usual “token curry”! I ordered the Hoisin Noodles with Redefine Steak, while my friend chose the Wellington.\n\nThe food did take a little while to arrive, but this is not fast food — and it was absolutely worth the wait. My noodles were packed with fresh, crisp vegetables, the hoisin sauce was perfectly balanced, and the Redefine steak was unbelievably good. My friend’s Wellington looked stunning, served with creamy mash and fresh vegetables — pure comfort food done to perfection.\n\nFrom the friendly staff to the outstanding food and beautiful setting, everything was faultless. I honestly can’t recommend The Brit enough — a true gem that’s raised the bar for dining in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

The food was gorgeous, huge portions, and I mean huge, excellent value for money and the attention to detail dressing the plates was very much appreciated, well done to whoever is in the kitchen, the food was impeccable. Also my gluten free food was perfect and thank you for having gf options as it can be very hard to eat out in good places. \nWe will definitely be back. Fab quirky little place (off the beaten track so you need to find it first) but great friendly service and reasonably priced tasty cafe food. Came here as a group of 10 cyclists and they managed to serve the whole group with cooked food (bacon rolls) within 15 minutes.

Now called Hot Moon Thai Kitchen we called in and had some very very nice food. For starters, we had Thai Fish Cakes and Chicken Satay, Both lovely, the Fishcakes especially nice with lovely fresh flavours. Main course we had Beef in oyster sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Thai Veg Fried Rice. All really nice. I can't believe we have never been before either when it was called Sky Thai or since the change of name.

We've ordered pizza from here three times and it's been great every time! We've always done collection and the pizza has always been piping hot fresh out of the oven. The pizza itself is so good, lovely doughbase, very nice tomato sauce, generous with cheese toppings, the prices are very reasonable and often large enough for leftovers! The staff are always very polite and helpful and the wait is minimal too! Better than their competitors, great value and our go-to for pizza from now on! Definitely recommended!
