Heol-Y-Capel, Nottage, PorthcawlFood is Lovely. I stayed in Room 5 March 2026. No TV signal, shower is hit and miss and need a new rail as it doesn't stay where you aim it. Needs a bit of a repaint in places. There is also a very unpleasant smell on the stairs

Seagull Hotel
Sandpiper Rd, PorthcawlI recently visited the Seagull hotel with family for both food and drinks. Food was absolutely exceptional, all meals came out together, hot and very well presented. All bar staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly and we're all on hand to meet our needs. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Will definitely be returning, thank you.

I travel from Cardiff to actually come here..
Especially when Saul is on he’s super polite and a massive asset to greegs.

THE ROCK INN, 98 John St, PorthcawlI have just come back from Trecco bay and I fancied a pint of real ale. Which is getting harder to find these days. So I got on the Internet and asked the question. We ended up spending the whole day there fantastic pint of Bass. Glenis was a hostess with most it. The food was very reasonably priced and all home made. They even give me a doggy bag to take home the food I couldn't finish. So guys if your in the area calling. I will be back our bill worked at £10/ head for 5 of us.

Unit 1, Rest Bay, The Precinct, PorthcawlOrdered for delivery to Trecco Bay Holiday Park .....more than once.
Fantastic food, the cod was lovely, white and reasonably thick, lovely light crisp batter. Chips were fantastic ....we had a small each with our fish.....2 adults and 2 teenagers ....we had over a portion left.
The chips were so cheap too.
Quick friendly delivery.

Eastern Promenade, PorthcawlI always make a bee-line to Mansel's on a day out in Porthcawl with my family. First time at the new venue today and I have to say the quality of the food is the same as it always has been and excellent value for money.
Sitting down to eat, we no longer have to worry about being pestered by the local seagul squad!!
We love it here, a great team of friendly and efficient staff and a great business overall!!

2-3 Eastern Promenade, PorthcawlThis was definitely the best fish and chips ive had. Absolutely perfect fry, chips were perfect. Just soooo good. Wish they had better tartar sauce... Little packets were good but this fish deserves better.

Unfortunately I ordered faggots, mash and mushy peas. Very small portion, so was the sausage and mash.. all in all it was a great day..

9 Well St, Porthcawl12 of us dined in Isabella’s last weekend to celebrate my Grandma’s 90th birthday, we had a fabulous meal! The staff and service were excellent, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we can’t wait to go back. Would highly recommend, a massive thank you to everyone at Isabella’s for the perfect evening.

33 Esplanade, PorthcawlWe turned up on Sunday (booked in advance) when roast dinners were the main theme, but they also did a limited selection of their Asian fusion small plates. On a hot Spring day, we opted for the small plates. They were amazing, apart from the Vietnamese roll, which was a bit dry and rubbery (just personal preferences here). We had all the other dishes on the small menu, and they were all amazing. We can't wait to book the full Asian menu and will be doing so very soon. Service was spot on, and the owners worked hard in the kitchen to produce some wonderful food. While we didn't do the Sunday roasts, many did, and they looked incredible. We'll be back for those in the Autumn/Winter months.

The Square, PorthcawlAbsolute gem of a find. Searched for somewhere special to celebrate our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday. Impressed with reviews and they weren't wrong. Steaks were amazing, cooked to perfection, generous portions for very reasonable price. Good menu choices save for no cheese and onion pie. Desserts were mouth watering too. Prompt, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Genial hosts, excellent beverages and a great atmosphere.
Given the last twice I came here , the weather was warm and we sat outside basking in the sunshine made these great experiences
It’s obvious that “ mine hosts” make an effort to attract both visitors and regulars alike by putting on various theme nights
I suppose given that we were there in the afternoon just for a drink stopped us from enjoying whatever food was on offer
A great pub and one I would heartily recommend visiting

One of a string of banging live bands we've seen at The Marine recently. Would love to see them again. Fair play, The Marine is definitely the place to go for live music at the moment in Porthcawl. Loving it.

A little more than usually would pay for a chippy .
However quality was A1 .. with a great attitude.
Not majorly busy.
Good portions and offer of xtra chips if wanted .
I had the xtra large haddock but would have been OK having regular cod as size was good .

I spent the hole day and night there and had a blast people are welcoming and locals are great to. Open till 2 am right on the sea front can sit there and watch the world go by it's a fantastic place
