The Black Bear Inn
Clytha Road, Bettws Newydd, UskHad a fabulous meal at the Black Bear Inn. From the start, we received a warm welcome, we had our golden retriever with us & everyone made a huge fuss of him. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were very attentive. The food was amazing. We had 3 courses and thoroughly enjoyed every one. Will definitely return and can highly recommend.

The New Court Inn
62 Maryport St, UskWe stopped for lunch recently. What a pleasant surprise to find an establishment that is traditionally what a pub should be, A pleasant welcoming by the barman, parked right outside and enjoyed the drinks we ordered and the lunch that was delicious served warm and was very reasonably priced. The beer was good and served properly. This pub has restored my faith in British hostelry it should be used as a benchmark.

White Hart Village Inn Llangybi
Llangybi, UskThis is by far the best pub in Wales. Khalid and this family are absolutely so friendly and inviting. Food is amazing. Please guys we need these village pubs USE them and have a great time.

8 High St, Raglan, UskFood was outstanding. The owner (david) was so helpful couldn't do enough for us reqlly made us feel welcome what a lovely man . Got our food order spot on . We had the hunters chicken it was the best chicken iv ever tasted hands down the bacon and cheese was amazing and the bbq sauce just topped it off ? ?. Comes with loads of delicious chunky chips too, 1 portion is enough for 2 people id say ?. We will definitely be goin back very soon. Wat a Lovely place since David has took over I cant recommend enough. The young man who served us was also very polite . Quality food lovely atmosphere give it a try you won't be disappointed ?

Dil Indian Cuisine
6 Bridge St, UskWe visited on a busy Saturday night, and even though the restaurant was packed, everything about the experience was excellent.
The food was fantastic from start to finish. The starters came out quickly and were fresh and full of flavor, and the main courses were just brilliant. Majaraja Bhuna was so tasty and you could tell a lot of care went into the preparation.
What really made the evening stand out, though, was our waiter, Shadad. Despite how busy it was, he was friendly and incredibly professional. He checked in at all the right times, made sure our drinks were always topped up, and handled the fast-paced atmosphere with ease. Shad also gave great menu recommendations, which we were really glad we followed. It’s not easy to maintain that level of service during a busy Saturday rush, but Shad and the team made us feel genuinely looked after the entire time.
A bit pricy? yes, but great food and outstanding service, worth some extra cash. We’ll definitely be back.

11 Bridge St, UskLovely selection of cakes and fresh sandwiches. I had chicken mayonnaise and bread pudding and coffee. Delicious. Friendly staff member said I had not ordered a drink for the meal deal. Very helpful. Will visit again soon!
