A family visit with grandchildren for lunch. The kids shared an adult fish and chips. There were several good vegetarian options on the menu which my wife and daughter enjoyed. I had fish and chips, very tasty chips and a big piece of fish. We did not sample the puddings as we were already full. I think you need to book as they were pretty full when we left. We booked late for a birthday lunch and they couldn't have been more helpful. Food was delicious and service was great with a young & professional team. Very attentive, friendly & efficient . Thanks gang. Shona & family .

What a lovely old pub, good beer and reasonable prices. However I feel the best thing about our night was Charles behind the bar. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile! We were there for a couple of hours and he was the same with everyone, very professional and polite throughout. Keep up the good work and a sincere thank you for looking after us ?
