Went for breakfast at the interceptor. Was average food wise with pale sausage and overcooked egg. The biggest let down was I paid an extra £1 for a piece of toast and it was tiny and cold so butter wouldn't melt. I wouldn't order extra toast again. The best thing though was the amazing service from both the lady who brought my tea and the young lad who brought my breakfast and checked on me. Friendly smiling and absolutely the stars in the pub. Pleasant experience -took advantage of mix it up Tuesday deal - quality of food was very good and portions were generous. Did wait over 40mins for the food hence the 4stars. We were in a corner and couldn't hear any music if any was playing so lacked some atmosphere although nicely decorated. Would
What is the matter with this pub?. It’s absolutely horrible, it’s like a pub if no other pubs existed, and you have to learn off it. The wait for a int is absolutely insane, the areas are rancid, there’s about 5 staff behind the bar, and they’re all grouped up in a bunch at the bottom till, me and 2 of my mates were in there, we started queuing for a pint, there was 2 people in front of me, we waited an easy 10 minutes to get served, the people who joined the queue after...read full review
