We visited on the Saturday of the Christmas fare when the town was very busy and we had takeaway. However the service was still excellent and the fish and chips some of the best ever had. The fish was cooked to order with the batter being crispy but not thick or over done and the fish superb. The chips were brown, crispy and piping hot! Visiting the area for a couple of days and was recommended that I go here for fish & chips and eat in the restaurant , a very friendly and chatty lady took my order, the fish ( cod) was cooked to order, the food was excellent, hot, crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish and lovely chips, had mushy peas, bread & butter & a pot of tea. Nice, very clean surroundings and if in the area I would definitely call again.

Masterfully prepared fish. Crunchy batter and delicate tasty fish. Portion was extremely generous. Clean tables and all sauces available. They even had decaf teabags for me. Will happily return next time I’m in Stratford-upon-Avon.
