Lovely country inn ,was made welcome as soon as we walked in was cosy and warm ,cute little bar, then tables otherside of the bar, excellent service, the food was delicious, broccoli and cheese soup to start ,gammon, 2 eggs and chips with peas ,then Lovely trillionares tart ,was a 2 for £20 night on a Wednesday and worth every penny paid ,Thursday is pie night ,vegetarian options ,my partner had steak with chips salad and onion rings and he loved it ,to start he had chicken wings...read full review
Not trying to be something it's not, this place does it really well. Simple, but tasty, and great value pub food. Friendly, helpful staff. Regular theme nights sound like they go down well too.
