We planned a lunch stop here whilst exploring local canal walks. Great choice! Extensive menu with lots of lighter lunch choices. I had the steak sandwich and soup ?Lovely friendly staff who even bought the dogs a bowl of water. Highly recommend.
Stayed in the area with family over Christmas and visited this pub on a few occasions. Christmas day was manic. The restaurant was full and food was taking a little too long to come out, however, there seems to be a new manager that was doing his best to deal with what was clearly too many bookings and not enough staff. There were 35 of us for a Baby Shower. Every meal was excellent! Friendly helpful service. My gluten free meal was amazing. This is about the 4th function I have been to at this venue, each time has been outstanding
