The Arden Hotel was clearly sign posted which made locating the Burgundy Restaurant within the Arden Hotel and Leisure Club nice and easy. Plenty of parking spaces, free for customers using the restaurant by validating the parking ticket at reception on the way out.The staff were all very welcoming, smartly presented and professional. We celebrated my friend’s birthday with Afternoon Tea in The Burgundy Restaurant. Liam greeted and seated us and was swiftly back to serve us when we were settled. What a pleasant and attentive young man he was throughout our visit. The Afternoon Tea was lovely especially the scones, the only criticism I could make is that the sandwich fillings weren’t the best we’ve had in our birthday teas.

This is a slightly formal style restaurant, old-fashioned in many ways with dark wood panels and the tables set out in lines.The menu is fairly interesting and will suit most people, but what makes this special are the staff - Olivia and Izzie are extremely good at their job and bubbly.The staff are on the ball regarding allergies and came back with what my wife could have with her Soya allergy, with Pasta and salmon fillet for mains, whilst I had the hot smoked salmon to start...read full review
