A group of 13 of us from the hospitals eye clinic celebrated in the Slug and Lettuce, Sutton Coldfield, last night (Friday). We had a brilliant night ????Great night, singing, dancing and laughing. Photo booth was great fun. DJ was great! All staff were great, special mentions to Pete and Kye, who went above and beyond to attend to our large party for food and drinks. Katie was great too. Thanks Sutton Coldfield, Slug and Lettuce Team for helping make our night great!

My wife and I had the most incredible meal last night at Malai. We ordered the Poppadoms which were excellent, Chicken Biryani and Baltic Chicken madras hot with butter Nan and the most incredible fragrant Pilau mushroom rice .. everything was so fresh, chicken was succulent and rice was incredible. Lovely friendly service and very good value. The Best Indian /Nepalese restaurant in Sutton !!

Absolute amazing staff and service, we booked for 30 people to dine for our Grandmas 80th, the staff from the first enquiry to bringing out the cake were fantastic, 30 dishes brought out 1 after the other no problems and the food was amazing, thank you for making grandma very happy

First time back at the Butlers for some time. It did not disappoint. From start to finish the service was second to none. The starter (fish cake) was the best I have tasted and for three courses the price was reasonable - not cheap but decent affordable pub food all freshly cooked and homemade - well worth a visit will be going back

I stayed at the Premier Inn next door during the Sutton Fun Run weekend, so ate a few times at the White Horse over the course of my stay. Only breakfast was booked, I was able to walk in for both Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch.\n\nOn Saturday afternoon after my check-in, I ordered the Falafel Burger which was accompanied by fries and onion rings, and a glass of orange juice. After the Sunday run, I returned to the White Horse (along with many other fun-runners) for a beef Sunday lunch. Both meals were scrumptious and plated up beautifully, reasonably priced too. The meat was lovely and tender.\n\nThe Premier Inn hot breakfasts are cooked to order, or alternatively there's a great selection of cold items (pastries, cereals, yoghurts, fruit) to choose from near the bar. Again everything I had was tasty and fresh, possibly the crispiest hash browns I've ever had!\n\nThe staff were efficient and attentive; each time I ate there the waiting staff checked in on patrons to ensure they were satisfied with their meals and nobody was kept waiting long for food. Ordering can be done either via the Greene King app or a trip to the bar. The tables were kept clean and tidy, none of that pub-table 'stickiness'!\n\nOutdoors, there's a decent-sized car park, and a well-kept pub garden with plenty of tables and a huge telly to watch the footie highlights on.\n\nI'm not often in Sutton Coldfield, but if I find myself in that neck of the woods again I'd be happy to return. Recommended.

A very pleasant visit on a busy Thursday afternoon. We enjoyed grilled sea bass and vegetables, plus strips of beef and mushrooms with rice. This was followed by homemade tiramisu, very tasty. We also had the 12 to 3pm lunch offer of two courses for £19.95 and £10.00 off a bottle of wine. The service was good and the bill came to £55.00 Regards Gary Saunders

I was round families and they ordered me a chicken bhuna with some sides which was so good i had to ask where it was from.\nI went back and have kept coming back since, i ordered the north inidian garlic chicken and other times with lamb (which was good cuts if soft lamb chunks)\nIve ordered the north Indian 5 times over since then, only once with this dish were the spices and taste different than to the previous times as it had me sweating ridiculously and it just had a notable change in flavour, but still enjoyable bar from the amount i had sweat haha i love spice but my taste profile must be maturing haha\n\nGreat chefs, friendly front of staff.\n\nDefinitely worth checking out for curry lovers.

I was amazed at the wonderful decor and the cleanliness as I walked in, then to be greeted by a lovely waitress who asked where I we would like to sit. I would travel here if I moved. I really liike the place. Staff will recognise you and made sure you look after. I suggest to preorder online cause the place is really busy in peak times.
