We popped in on Saturday lunch time, we had a meal there a few months ago we enjoyed it and we happened to be in the area again so we decided to try it again. We really enjoyed our meals again, my wife had lamb chops from the specials board and the chef did her gravy without mint as requested. I’ll not bore you with all the nonsense that’s been written prior to this. Totally immaculate is how I’d describe this fine fine ale house. I would like to give my kindest, upmost respect to the young gentleman named Henry behind the bar, incredulously good service. Bowler hats off to all the welcoming staff. Amazing atmosphere.. really friendly, helpful staff, efficient service.. called in for dinner on way to theatre .. all made fresh.. we had sausage and mash with garden peas and a rich gravy... and a "three tuns" burger with rainbow slaw and fries.. very very tasty.. served piping hot... it didn't last long...!!
