I had my 50th celebration at Five Rivers. \nWe spoke with Hamza who helped us to book and plan the evening , he was very accommodating and gave us a tour around the venue. \nOn the day the whole set up was lovely, Jason introduced himself on our arrival, he too was accommodating, friendly, said the food drinks would be served as and when we requested. He told us to approach him at any time during the evening if we or our guests required any thing. \nOnce the food was served, it was hot and very delicious, our guests said the same thing, the waiters topped our food as and when we needed. The bar staff were good and serving promptly. \nThe pianist was absolutely fantastic.! \nEverything ran smoothly! \nThe atmosphere in the restaurant was great! \nMost of our guests were from down south and Wolverhampton all very impressed. \nAt the end of the evening Jason was helpful with everything. He came and asked if we were happy with everything, he recommended us to come again and try the a la Carte menu. \nI cannot thank Jason enough! \nI highly recommend this Venue!

This is a stand out restaurant, service is Michelin level just cannot be more helpful and unlike other Harvesters the food is actually cooked really well.\n\nIf you want a great breakfast or main meal this is the place in Walsall, in a town where such gems are very few.\n\nShout out to the team they just reinforce why we need to be regulars, cannot speak highly enough of them.

Due to close so make the most of this place while you can. i will repeat my timeline comment as time is but limited now. This news of closure (and renewal) isnt brand new but i know the owners are not in a bad place and will always bounce back. My one experience was of someone aloof, judgmental and taking how someone dresses as more important than their manners. Oh and how much they spent too. Any attempt to make social conversation was shut down. An effort to offer a taxi or similar would have been nice after many miles of walking. I had had a bad turn but this place offered nothing. If i had been female i suspect the reaction would be a lot less judgemental. The passive agressiveness that day makes me glad this place is consigned to the history books along with various other unfriendly places since the mid 2000s. Best of luck in gaining some maturity as the 2030s slowly move along.

He was working quickly & efficiently to take orders, keep items stocked up & clean tables aswell as dealing with any queries. \nThe breakfast here is excellent value for money with a expansive range of buffet style full English & continental choices available. \nWe have also had previous birthday & other celebrations here because it's a good central location, where the meals & drinks are always excellent & you don't feel rushed to leave & can have a good catch-up with family & friends.\nI would recommend visting this establishment for the meals, staff & friendly atmosphere.

Bailey our server was so nice and friendly, I’d ordered peppercorn sauce with my steak and he came back to me to say it contains mustard seed.\nI had steak my husband had mixed grill, both meals were 10/10. Bailey made sure we always had more soft drinks as soon as we’d finished them.\nLovely afternoon and gorgeous food, we used buy 1 get 1 free code which made it even better!

The batter on the fish wasn’t seasoned much so didn’t enjoy the taste.The chicken donner was nice however the donner meat didnt have much flavour, it got cold pretty quick. Just received our first order and we are very happy with our experience. The delivery driver was very nice. We placed the order directly on their website and was given an estimated arrival time of 1 hour and 15 minutes which to be honest at first I was not happy about but I figured they must cook the food made to order and I am willing to wait for fresh food. Thankfully though it arrived before the estimated time so we were grateful for that. The food itself was very good. All containers were stuffed and the food definitely tasted fresh. We will happily be return customers. Thank you to all working this evening who helped provide us with our delicious dinner. I included a photo of some of my noodles since we started eating before I thought to take photos lol.

I would highly recommend taking a visit to the boathouse. The staff are absolutely wonderful and so polite. The food is wonderful and alway's well presented. It is clean and friendly. Also has a very good atmosphere. The toilet's have alway's been clean and up to standards. This pub is child friendly and also located next to a canal. Which is gated off and makes it safe for children to be outside. We will definitely be going back.

Service is a bit hit and miss, and you must stand behind the rope to get in queue to pay.

We hired The Raaj for our wedding recently and cannot recommend them enough. We booked over a year before our wedding, and in that time had a few meetings to discuss the decor and budget we had in mind - this included a site visit. Compared to other decor suppliers, we thought that Bal was rational & reasonable when it came to costing & the decor pieces needed to fill the space, where others would try to oversell.A few weeks before the wedding we finalised the look we were after - the team were able to slightly change the flower colour scheme to what we wanted and it looked perfect on the day - we couldn’t be happier with how the marquee at Hilton Hall was decorated.Massive thanks to Bal & the team!

As Wetherspoons go, this is a good one! Looks impressive from the top level. Only problem is, there's loads of stairs to get to the upper level and no lift. You have to go up them to use the toilets. There's a disabled one downstairs.
Food is cheap and cheerful and service is very fast.

Parking: There's an Asda next door so you can park there for a couple of hours.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not suitable for wheelchairs. There's steps up to the front entrance.

Wonderful and classy and friendly and historic and dog friendly pub.

Nearly 400 years old. Well worth a visit and great food and a huge selection of real ales. Highly recommend
