I had a wonderful experience at Five Rivers Restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to Dhruv. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and well taken care of. His service was thoughtful without being intrusive, and he ensured everything was perfect from start to finish.

Dhruv is a credit to the restaurant, and his warm personality truly elevated the dining experience. I look forward to visiting again!

So it was my First time in Walsall town centre and I was in town to watch my beloved Oldham Athletic Vs Walsall FC in the football ⚽️ and I googled best craft beers/IPA(Indian Pale Ales)/APA(American Pale Ales) and The Black Country Arms came up so i decided to head there to sample some craft lagers/Craft Beers ?.

I was warmly greeted and I opted for an APA(I can't remember which one but it was a great pint), I asked if they did pub food and the barman just we sell sandwiches but no hot food so I sat in the Window and enjoyed my pint, I finished my pint then headed back to the bar and asked what the barman recommended and he gave me a tester of one of the speciality/craft lagers and again i can't remember what he recommended but it was next to the New Zealand and sour beer, it was a fantastic pint so I headed back to my seat and enjoyed my pint i finished my pint and headed to the Weatherspoons and the registry for a few more beers ?.

Hands down the best selection of craft lagers, APA's, IPA's, Craft beers ? etc.

Due to close so make the most of this place while you can. i will repeat my timeline comment as time is but limited now. This news of closure (and renewal) isnt brand new but i know the owners are not in a bad place and will always bounce back. My one experience was of someone aloof, judgmental and taking how someone dresses as more important than their manners. Oh and how much they spent too. Any attempt to make social conversation was shut down. An effort to offer a taxi or similar would have been nice after many miles of walking. I had had a bad turn but this place offered nothing. If i had been female i suspect the reaction would be a lot less judgemental. The passive agressiveness that day makes me glad this place is consigned to the history books along with various other unfriendly places since the mid 2000s. Best of luck in gaining some maturity as the 2030s slowly move along.

I would highly recommend taking a visit to the boathouse. The staff are absolutely wonderful and so polite. The food is wonderful and alway's well presented. It is clean and friendly. Also has a very good atmosphere. The toilet's have alway's been clean and up to standards. This pub is child friendly and also located next to a canal. Which is gated off and makes it safe for children to be outside. We will definitely be going back.

This is a gem of a place in Walsall Town.
We especially like the buffet nights on Wednesday or Thursday.
They offered a great choice of starters and main dishes with the usual additions of salad,poppadoms and sauces. The buffet also includes nan breads.
All of the dishes are regularly replenished and remain fresh & hotel throughout.
You can see that the food is freshly cooked and well presented. Each dish tastes totally different.
We have been going to this restaurant for several years and never have had a bad meal.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly.
The cost was below £30 plus drinks which represents excellent value for money.
They also do a take away service that is just as good.
More than happy to recommend this restaurant.

A generous portion of battered chips, these were tasty I enjoyed this. The fish however should be improved, it was said to be cod however it was pretty flat and not flaky as usual. The batter on the fish wasn’t seasoned much so didn’t enjoy the taste.The chicken donner was nice however the donner meat didnt have much flavour, it got cold pretty quick.
