Since moving to the area last year I have visited this pub for lunch at least once a month with family and will continue to return. The food is always tasty, well made and beautifully presented and their home made garlic bread is amazing. The staff are always friendly and work hard to make sure you’re looked after. Terrific pub in gorgeous old high street. Hall & Woodhouse (Badger). Beautiful old timbered building. Cosy corners and sympathetic dining area extension at rear. Really good hearty meals and good cooking. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend

A lovely setting and friendly staff but the food was mediocre at best. We chose the place because it suited where we were coming from and seemed a good geographic compromise. Because we were driving we had soft drinks only, which seemed a shame as the beer selection was so tempting. Time pressures and a lot to discuss meant we didn't look at the menus properly and simply went with the recommendations.
