Out for a walk today with friends and 5 dogs between us. We stopped here for a quick drink and were really impressed with the welcome from everyone. Plenty of room inside, lovely open fire. We decided we were going to eat while we were here after seeing some of the food. Menu is quite limited, but as the owners have only been here for 3 weeks, this was to be expected. I was driving through the area with friends Monday and nowhere seemed to be open so we stopped at the Barleycorn. I must say what lovely friendly service. I had the lamb shank and it was so good really glad we stopped will return
