Booked ahead for my birthday with 20 people, so we took over most of the pub! The service was fantastic and a great choice of food for all. Would recommend, especially as there are many nice walks to get there.
Run by lovely women who sadly don't know much about cask beer which is sad considering it's a real homely pub. Could do with varying their stock as much too similar. Only ever seen one cask IPA .

Visited as a couple for Sunday lunch. The pub itself is just lovely - a proper old pub tastefully decorated. Ordered the nut roast and roast chicken. The portions were very generous. The food was very good -not outstanding - but very good and the service was excellent. The meal was served quickly and requests for extra gravy accommodated without fuss. A good pub lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed very much.
