The Duke of York has improved drastically in the last couple of months. Under new ownership the pub has got its customers back and the atmosphere is really good. We also tried the food yesterday and it was really nice and really tasty. This pub used to be really good but under the new owners it's absolutely fantastic. Beavertown beers on tap and the food is unbelievably good and the prices are spot on. Frequently call in for a bite to eat after a dog walk or to celebrate birthdays with family etc and the service is top notch, comfy seats with a log burner nearby. Couldn't be happier.

Had a lovely meal, delicious and plentiful. Great service, very friendly. The room we were in wasn't particularly Christmassy and felt a bit bare, so could do with some cosying up but didn't detract at all from the food. A really nice pub.
