Friendly and attentive staff with a welcoming fire warming the rooms. Solid tables with plenty of space between. Opted for the Pie and a Pint. The Beef, ale and stilton pie was superb with plenty of internal gravy, salted chunky chips and mushy peas. Happly consumer every day. Beer was good. Bar area requires a deep clean, I could clearly smell spilt beer that has found its way into the crevices that a daily clean doesn't catch.
