Food is great, service has been hit and miss over the years, but generally good. Limited dr now on tap, but that's down to my preference. Fairly good selection of spirits and wines. Worth a visit.
Update:sept 23. The best just got better, the beef and the fish, as walk-ins (didn't book) amazing. The beef was perfect, the fish cooked to perfection. These guys know how to cook.Really good traditional pub food, nice atmosphere, this is more of an eatery than a pub as the bar area is small. Staff are friendly, good good, nice beer, great views and a superb way to spend an afternoon after a walk around the local area... Daryl the chef makes the most amazing food and his prices are worth the money. Got served by waitress Ash. Lovely young lady who knows how to communicate with customers. Give her 10/10. We had prawn cocktail,game pie and trifle. Just a beautiful meal. Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible. Best pub around and prices excellent
