Now this is a local pub for local people it seems to be undergoing a facelift at the moment which will definitely improve its look the staff are supper friendly and very helpful with local knowledge
Great modern stylish pub in an old setting. Roaring fire, fine selection of wines, gins and cask ales. Suits professional, younger and those looking for a historical theme. Cosy , smart and cultural bliss

What a cracking pub .We all did our annual Xmas walk and called at the Rising sun for a couple.The barmaid was excellent serving three people at once .The beers were excellent (especially White Rat).Will definitely be calling again.Well worth a visit.
